how i feel right now: rather accomplished really. happy (actively so, not just my usual contentment). alive. good things mostly. also somewhat anxious and slightly angsty. but c’est la vie.

my favorite holiday: is it odd that i don’t much care for holidays? apparently “Most days of the year are proclaimed as national ‘food holidays.’” (x) so that’s kinda delicious. i also kinda answered this before (amusing since it’s now fourth of july season), but i suppose right now i will say that snow days would be my favorite holiday and i wish i could have them x]

the reason i joined tumblr: originally? i can’t actually recall. i first posted something in june of 2010, but i never actually came on here. there were also several periods of rather long hiatus. my current reason for being here is probably the most relevant answer and can be summed up with something i mentioned before:

in my opinion, i can’t possibly write too much. since part of my intention is to keep this as a historical imprint of my self, writing more about my thoughts, perspectives, memories, etc. can only be beneficial. ideally, everything would be archived in order to gather the most precise and comprehensive view of my self (essentially the idea i propose in this post).

(x) hyperlinks everywhere! but really, this is for me to explore thoughts, to keep as a record of good and bad days, of mental and emotional change. a storage space for random thoughts and a medium to communicate and further such ideas with others who happen to be similarly intrigued.
