and of course my initial response is to start singing. in this case, hoobastank: i’m not a perfect person—

(i hope) it’s not my nature to be adversarial. i just.. i temper those around me, portraying the inertial state and it’s tendency to resist change. i tend to want to consider options before acting on a decision. it’s not that i disagree with people, i just think that debate is one of the most trustworthy forms to discover merit. [and i see meritocracy as legitimate.]

but all this is mostly irrelevant and i’m hijacking you just being very sweet. i want to disagree with you. i want to say i don’t deserve it. i want to argue that there’s

no such thing as perfection— it can never exist;
all we have is affection, here, in our midst.

but really i just wanna give you a hug. [and maybe play with your hair.]
