Do you ever think of the very real possibility that not all your friends will die of old age

I miss having real conversations with people. You know, the ones where you talk about life and what everything means, where you try and figure out what the world’s plan for you is - the ones that make you realize something that you may or may not have known about yourself (or things that you may not want to realize about yourself)…
I can count on one hand the number of people I’ve had those conversations with over the past three years. Granted, it’s important to shoot the shit, and I like doing that - but I feel like it’s just as important, if not more, to step back for a moment and talk about life in a greater scale versus being engrossed in just the present.

Yes complement, not compliment. A person who accentuates your true personality, who adds fuel to your fire. Someone who can help teach you things you could never learn on your own. The one who sparks your creativity and challenges you to do better and be better.

do you ever just want to grab someone by the shoulders and scream “NO YOU’RE A WONDERFUL PERSON YOU DON’T NEED TO FEEL BAD ABOUT YOURSELF EVER” and aggressively shove them into a pile of fluffy pillows and throw them some of their favorite chocolate

Can we talk about how in a couple days I will be moving into an apartment with a person I met on tumblr?

“Blood is thicker than water”, when used in the context of family over friends, is in fact a wildly incorrect bastardisation.
The true, full quote is “The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb,” and refers to relationships forged by choice holding deeper meaning than those of mere biology.
